The Cubs have lost 10 straight to the Brewers, who have won six of their last eight games while running away with the NL Central title. Corbin Burnes is a Cy Young candidate and he pitched eight hitless innings his last start against Cleveland in what ended as a no-hitter for the Brewers. Burnes is 10-4 with a 2.25 ERA and a .198 opponent batting average and has allowed just five homers in 152 innings this season. He also has pitched 14 shutout innings against the Cubs in two appearances in 2021. Chicago has lost 26 of 37 on the road and Milwaukee is 17-5 its past 22 at home versus teams with losing records.
