Not a great week for the "unstoppable" Cubbies, losing four of six -- all as serious chalk. They were no-hit for seven innings in a 4-2 loss in Tuesday's opener of the three-game series. This is the second of a 10-game trip. 34-year-old starter John Lackey has a 5.79 ERA in three road outings. That's nothing new, as the last four seasons he is 17-24 on the road with a 4.45 ERA. Milwaukee is home with a fine offense, top 10 in on base percentage and ranked #11 in doubles. Milwaukee LF Ryan Braun has reached base in 24 straight games for the third-longest streak of his career. The Brewers have received excellent pitching of late, allowing three or fewer runs in six of the past seven games, and turn to their most consistent starter in right-hander Jimmy Nelson (4-3, 3.51 ERA). He has posted five quality starts in his first eight outings of the season, and the Brewers are 7-3 in his last 10 home starts. Nelson has started six times against the Cubs with a 3.35 ERA against them, so jump on the big home dog and take Milwaukee.
