Milwaukee has talent and after a miserable start they are finally getting it together, riding a six game win streak. The offense is on a tear scoring 10, 4, 7, 5 and 5 runs the last five games and they wind up a six game home stand here. Wily Peralta has a high ERA but turned in his first quality start of 2013 on Tuesday night against the Cubs. He allowed three runs on six hits over 6-2/3 innings of work. This is a guy with excellent stuff, off a season where he had a 2.48 ERA and was even better at home. The Brewers are 35-16 in their last 51 games as a home favorite. The last place Cubs are in town with all kinds of offensive problems, 28th in runs scored, 25th in batting average and 26th in on-base percentage. Starter Scott Feldman is part of the problem on the mound, too, walking seven in nine innings. The Cubs are 19-54 in their last 73 road games and 17-42 in their last 59 games vs. a right-handed starter. The Cubs are 7-23 in the last 30 meetings, including 6-20 in the last 26 meetings in Milwaukee. Play the Brewers.
