Chicago has still won five of seven after losing 5-2 to Seattle on Wednesday while the Dodgers have lost four of six. Justin Steele will start for the Cubs and he has been nearly unhittable his first two appearances allowing only one run in 12 innings against Milwaukee and Texas and he owns a .167 opponent batting average. Steele has a 0.92 ERA in nine starts since last July. Current Los Angeles hitters are 2-for-16 against him with seven strikeouts. Noah Syndergaard got bombarded by Arizona to the tune of six runs on eight hits in four innings on Saturday as the Dodgers lost 12-8. The Dodger bullpen has a 4.79 ERA and 1.38 WHIP with only three saves. The road underdog is a good bargain in this matchup and take the Cubs as a Max Play.
