The Angels looked ripe to be had last night after imploding vs. lowly Houston, being swept at home in four straight games. They responded with a big uplifting win last night, and I expect them to continue to win vs. a Cubs team that has now lost three straight, marking the sith time already that this team has lost three or more games in a row. The Cubs' pen is bad, and depleted, having worked 8 innings in the three straight defeats to allow 12 runs. The Angels have mastered the serves of Matt Garza who has yet to defeat the Angels in four starts where his ERA stands at 5.87. Chicago is also just 2-9 in his last 11 road starts. The Angels are an impressive 41-18 in their last 59 interleague home games, and Vargas has led them to a 5-0 mark in his last five home starts. Go with the Angels.
