Chicago at Colorado

The Chicago Cubs were probably happy that yeaterday's game was postponed to today after going 18 innings the previous night vs. the Yankees. The Cubs have not looked to be anything like the team that won it all last season, and at 16-15 on the season they are struggling to stay over .500. The Rockies have suffered through six consecutive losing seasons, and last made a playoffs appearance in 2009. There are certainly signs of change brewing in Colorado. The Rockies are off to a 20-12 start on the season, returning +27.3% to their backers thus far. Game 2 starter, Kyle Freeland, looks like a top-of-the-rotation pitcher for Colorado with the Rockies 5-1 in his six starts, allowing just 2.17 runs per game. He has also pitched very well at home, where his three home starts he has allowed one run, and 0 runs in two of them - a refreshing stat in a park known for slugfests. Freeland's six starts have seen all six go UNDER the total, and the oddsmakers have not caught up to this phenom yet, which puts both the side and total in play.
