The Cubs have now won six straight. Everything is going right as they got a two-run homer in the ninth yesterday to push the game to extra innings, going on to win in the 10th. Overall they have won 14 of their last 17 games scoring 133 runs. Home teams coming off a one run loss facing an opponent that has scored 7+ runs in two straight games are just 17-38 (31%) over the past five seasons. The Cubs send Jason Marquis to the mound who is 11-3 the past two seasons vs. NL teams batting .255 or worse. He's also 15-4 over that span in day games. Meanwhile Cook is just 23-39 overall the past three seasons. We'll back the Cubs who seem to have it all clicking right now.
