Chicago took Cleveland's best punch last night in having to face ace Corey Kluber while bullpen wizard Andre Miller threw 46 pitches. Now the Indians have to go with Trevor Bauer (4.26 ERA), who is no ace. He hasn't pitched much this postseason because of an injured finger. During the regular season, Bauer had a 4.73 ERA at home. He faces a talented and deep Chicago lineup that ranked third in baseball in runs scored, second in on-base percentage and #10 in slugging. The surprising return of Kyle Schwarber to play DH allows Joe Maddon to back up National League MVP candidate Kris Bryant with a run of power bats -- first baseman Anthony Rizzo, left fielder Ben Zobrist and Schwarber. The Cubs counter with another ace, Jake Arrieta, who went 11-3 on the road with batters hitting .203 off him. The Cubs are 36-16 in Arrieta's last 52 road starts and a great bounce-back team at 20-6 when following a loss. The Cubs even the series tonight.
