Chicago at Cleveland

Chicago can't hit lefties. They are averaging a dismal 3.3 runs per game on .221 hitting vs. southpaws this season. Couple that with their overall struggles hitting in night games and Cleveland's powerful offense and the Cubs are going to have trouble keeping up with the Indians in this one. Cliff Lee has been hot with great performances against the Angels, White Sox and Yankees of late. Maddux has been cold getting tagged by both St. Louis and Houston. The Cubbies are off a 12-8 win over these Indians. They have scored 8+ runs 9 prior times this season and have come back with a loss in the next game 8 of those times. Home favorites following that kind of high-scoring game vs. an opponent off two high-scoring games hit at about 75%. I like the Indians to bounce back with a win in this one.
