Chicago at Cincinnati

The Cincinnati Reds got off to a chilly start and were 6-24. They have been better of late, but still have a losing record in their last 11 games. The Cubs are just 16-24 as we head to the season's quarter-pole. After putting up a modest four-game winning streak, Chicago proceeded to give it all back, losing four straight before winning the final game of their series with Arizona yesterday. The Cubs are the better team and have the edge on the mound as they send southpaw Drew Smyly to the hill vs. Vladimir Guitierrez, who is winless on the season. The Reds are 1-9 their past 10 against left-handed starters and I look for the Cubs to pin another big loss on Cincinnati. Make the play on Chicago on the run line.
