There is lots of speculation if Carlos Zambrano will be in a Cubs uniform before the trade deadline. For now, he is and he has delivered a 4-1 start for the Cubs, so they may find value on him before all is said and done. Homer Bailey has pitched well for the Reds, albeit just two starts. He has worked to a pitch count as he builds arm strength, and has allowed 1 run in 13 innings. The problem is what comes in after they come and get him, as the Reds’ pen has allowed 6 runs in five innings after he is pulled. The Cubs are soaring OVER the total at 8-2 in their last 10 vs. the NL Central. While the Reds are topping the total at 9-2-1 when Bailey takes the hill on five days rest. Play on the OVER.
