Chicago at Cincinnati

Cincinnati finally has gotten on track this season as the Reds have won six in a row and have climbed within two games of .500 after a 3-2 victory over the Cubs on Friday. Tyler Stephenson hit a go-ahead two-run double in the fourth and the Reds bullpen held Chicago to one run on one hit in three innings. Cincinnati has won four of five meetings in 2024 and the Cubs now have lost six of their past nine games and they are only 13-20 on the road. Andrew Abbott bounced back from a bad outing against St. Louis and and gave up three runs on seven hits in six innings at Colorado on Monday as the Reds won 13-3. Ben Brown allowed five runs on six hits in five innings his last start against the Reds on Sunday. Cincinnati is 5-0 UNDER in Abbott's past five Saturday starts and 10-1 UNDER when he starts with four days rest. The Cubs are 4-0-1 UNDER versus left-handed starters. Take the Reds and the UNDER.
