Chicago at Cincinnati

The Cincinnati Reds are running out of games, and will need to catch fire down the stretch to get back into the Wild Card race. Tonight will be a good opportunity to get on that path behind Cy Young Award candidate Johnny Cueto. Cueto has recorded a 15-7 record along with a superb 2.20 ERA on the season. Cueto has allowed 2 runs or less in 22 of his 27 starts on the season, and the opportunity is big here for Cincinnati. Travis Wood has really hit the skids. He is winless in his last 12 starts overall, posting an 0-6 record with an ERA of 5.45. He has not fared much better against his former team where he owns just a single win in his last six starts against them. The Reds are now 44-15 behind Cueto in his last 59 starts as a favorite, which trumps the posted odds here. Take Cincinnati.
