Jake Arrieta seems to have lost his magic as Chicago has lost four of his last five starts as he's allowed 17 earned runs and 30 hits in 28 1/3 innings. Arrieta did pitch well his last start against the Mets, but the Cubs still lost 2-1. Arrieta has a 3.44 ERA on the road compared to 1.61 at home, and last year in one game at U.S. Cellular Field he gave up three runs and five hits in 6 2/3 innings. Miguel Gonzalez is 2-5, but has pitched better than his record indicates as he has not allowed more than three earned runs his last four starts, and the bullpen and lack of run support has hurt him. The Cubs have lost seven of their last 10 road games, and the White Sox have won eight of their last 10 against teams with .600 or better winning percentages. The White Sox come off two wins on Sunday, including the completion of a suspended game. It's a good spot for the home underdog. Play the White Sox.
