Despite some injuries in their rotation, the Atlanta Braves have risen above it all at 19-15 on the season. One good reason has been the efforts of Ervin Santana who is yet to lose at 3-0, sporting a 2.41 ERA on the season. The Chicago Cubs are more than a century removed from a championship, and are 12-22 - once again heading nowhere. They have gotten superb pitching from Jeff Samardzija, but despite a 1.62 ERA on the season he has yet to record a win. His last start vs. Atlanta sums up his frustration. Last year he went 5.2 innings and striking out 13, only to lose. It is hard to discredit Samardzija, but it's a lot easier when you consider that despite his great pitching, the Cubs are 1-10 in his last 11 starts. All Braves in this one.
