Chicago at Arizona

Arizona is glad to be back home after losing the last three of a road trip to the Mets and the Diamondbacks have won 10 of 14 home games while currently tied for a wild-card berth. Chicago has lost five of seven and the Cubs are just 37-35 on the road and they have lost six of the past eight meetings with Arizona. Brandon Pfaadt has shown flashes of good pitching, but has been inconsistent overall for the Diamondbacks and he faced the Cubs once and allowed four runs in six innings. Arizona will get a second chance against Justin Steele, who they faced on Saturday and the Diamondbacks eventually won the game 3-2 in 10 innings after Steele went seven innings and gave up a run on six hits.
