Chicago at Arizona

The Chicago Cubs' ownership has sent the message that they are going to dump contracts and start over with draft picks and promising minor leaguers. They dealt their best pitcher Matt Garza to the Rangers, and now that this has had time to set in, I think the Cubs will struggle to find motivation, especially on the road as reality is setting in. Jeff Samardzija is now the top remaining pitcher in the Cubs' rotation, but the Cubs are a woeful 4-12 when he takes the mound vs. a winning team. Chicago has shown little bite on the road as a dog where they are 42-89 on their last 131 tries. Chicago has found little success here as they are 16-37 in their last 53 played in Arizona.
