The Arizona Diamondbacks made a solid investment when they signed Dan Haren a year ago. They won 20 games when he started, and at home they finished with a 12-5 mark. Haren is off and running, allowing just four earned runs in four starts, pitching to a 1.38 ERA. You can always be sure that his team is going to be in the game, especially at home. The same can't be said for Ted Lilly on the road, where is just 25-23 over the last four years, and pitching to a nine ERA this year. Lilly has finished with road ERAs of 7.57, and 4.57 in two of the past four years. His best road ERA in the last five seasons is higher than Haren's worst home ERA in the past five seasons, so there is a definite advantage for the D-Backs at home. The Cubs dominated at home a year ago, but were barely over a .500 team on the road. I'll go with the D-Backs in this one.
