Lackey has been strong at home the last three years but his numbers skyrocket on the road to a 15-23 road mark, 4.35 ERA in three seasons. Last year with St. Louis continued that trend, with a road ERA almost two runs higher than at home. They face an Arizona offense brimming with talent. Among the Diamondbacks' talented young anchors are two players who have had success against starter John Lackey: first baseman Paul Goldschmidt (2-for-3, HR) and second baseman Jean Segura (8-for-19).
