Anytime you can grab the Red Sox as an underdog vs. a sub-.500 team it is a wager that will give you a great opportunity for returns. Ricky Romero has had a good season for the Jays, but the team is still not a good team, and despite his best efforts they are just 15-13 in his 28 starts this season. By contrast, the Sox are 9-4 in Miller's 13 starts, despite a 5.27 ERA. The difference is that the Sox can close games and score runs, and aren't dependent on a good start. The Blue Jays can win here only with a superb effort by Romero. The Sox are now 31-1 in their last 45 vs. a team with a losing record, and the Jays struggles’ vs. left-handers continue, now 1-6 in their last seven. Play Boston in this one.
