Boston won its seventh in a row on Sunday and has moved into second place in the AL East after sweeping a three-game series with the Guardians. The Red Sox have been getting great pitching and have allowed an average of just 2.9 runs during the streak. Toronto has lost seven of its last 10 games, including 10-3 yesterday when Milwaukee scored eight runs in the first two innings. Connor Seabold will make his second start for Boston and he is 5-1 with a 2.09 in 11 starts in the minors this year. Kevin Gausman has been inconsistent lately for the Blue Jays, who have lost his last four starts, and he has a .324 opponent batting average at home. Boston has won 20 of its past 26 games overall and 16 of 21 on the road. Also, the Red Sox are 16-5 in the first game of a series.
