Last year's World Champion Boston Red Sox can do nothing but play in the role of a spoiler this season. Clay Buchholz has been a big part of the probelm. After posting a 1.74 ERA a year ago, he enters this contest at 5.94. Perhaps that is changing as for the first time since May 2 as Buchholz has put together two out of three starts allowing three runs or less. J.A. Happ has dropped off of late, as he is on a three start losing streak, and failed to get out of the fourth inning in his last one. Toronto continues to remain in the hunt for a wild card opportunity, but they have gotten rocked in series openers, now 0-6 in their last six. And right handed pitching has been problematic of late with the Jays entering at 3-12 in their last 15 against them. Boston is a promising 40-17 behind Buchholz in his last 57 starts after scoring 5+ in their previous outing. Boston also 9-1 in Toronto in Buchholz's last 10 starts here. Make the play on Boston.
