The Boston Red Sox have proven that they are not as good as expected, as an aging David Ortiz has been benched, and the rotation has been highly suspect and inconsistent. Texas has been playing very good baseball, and Josh Hamilton has certainly lengthened the lineup as he belted a pair of HRs in last night's win. Wade Miley has pitched well lately, but it's hard to ignore his pedestrian numbers at 4-4 with a 4.47 ERA. Boston has failed miserably as a short to medium chalk as they are just 3-9 in their last 12 from -110 to -150, and overall they have claimed just one win in their last seven vs. a right-hander. The Rangers are 8-2 in their last 10, and have grabbed the money in seven of their last nine as a dog. Take the home dog Texas.
