The Boston Red Sox have dropped four straight and 12 of their last 18. It isn't just losing it is the way they are losing. The Sox have been outscored in the four-game losing streak by a whopping 37-12, or by over 6 runs per game. They have now lost 10 of their last 18 games by 2 runs or more, and this is simply a team that has quit on Bobby Valentine. Clay Buchholz and his 5.19 ERA is not a good match against a hard-hitting Rangers lineup. The Red Sox are showing little fight when playing as an underdog where they are now 1-8 in their last nine. The Rangers have been dominating losing teams at 60-27 in their last 87 games. As good as Boston has been in the past, they have not fared well here - even with good teams at 5-12 in their last 17. The wheels are off for the Bosox, so play Texas on the runline.
