The Red Sox have won four in a row, including sweeping the Nationals in the final weekend of the regular season, and have Eduardo Rodriguez on the mound today. Rodgiguez has pitched well his last five appearances allowing only five earned runs in 21 1/3 innings, including five scoreless innings against Washington on Friday. Shane McClanahan has given up five runs on 15 hits in 16 innings versus Boston this year. The Red Sox have won nine of their past 10 playoff games and seven of eight playoff games on the road.
