Boston at San Francisco

San Francisco comes off a 3-2 win on Saturday when J.D. Davis hit a walk-off homer on the first pitch by Kenley Janson and the Giants stayed within 3 1/2 games of first place in the NL West. It snapped a five-game win streak by Boston, who will start Brennan Bernardino in what is likely a bullpen game for the Red Sox. The Giants will go with Scott Alexander and he also is expected to go just a couple innings before the relievers take over for San Francisco. The Giants' bullpen is #2 in the majors with 39 saves and tied for first with a 1.21 WHIP. The Red Sox are just one game over .500 on the road and they have been streaky all season.
