Philadelphia is expected to send Vince Velasquez to the mound in the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the hapless Red Sox. Velasquez has started three games this season, and he'll have an opportunity to improve on his numbers against Boston, which is 5-11 its last 16 road contests, and it has lost seven of its last 10 interleague games versus teams with winning records. Also, the Sox are 15-36 their last 51 games as underdogs, and the Phillies have won 11 of their last 14 overall and eight straight games as favorites. These are two teams going in different directions. Go with the hot hand and play the Phillies in Game 2 of this doubleheader.
