The Boston Red Sox continue to lead the AL East at 32-21. Jon Lackey appears to be regaining the form, after battling injuries, that made him a coveted free agent pitcher. Lackey is only 3-4, but has a stellar 2.72 ERA on the season, and his two most recent outings shows signs of his former self, allowing no earned runs in either. Things have turned sour for Kyle Kendrick who has been battered for 9 runs 16 hits in 11 innings over his last two starts. Boston is an outstanding 74-26 in their last 100 interleague games vs. a right-handed starter. Boston has also played superbly here where they are 15-7 in the last 22 meetings in Philly. Play Boston on the runline.
