Boston at Philadelphia

The Boston Red Sox head to Philadelphia, as both teams try to find themselves in a season that thus far has been filled with disappointment for both clubs. Disappointment, however, hasn't been the word when Cole Hamels takes the mound. The Phillies have won each of his last six starts, where he has pitched to a sensational 1.93 ERA. The Sox were hoping for better by moving Daniel Bard into the rotation, but at 3-4 with a 4.30 ERA, he has been rather pedestrian. It has weakened their rotation, as well as their bullpen, which is now vacant of both Bard and Papelbon, and has struggled all season. The Phillies are pounding opponents with a losing record behind Hamels at 28-11 in his last 39 starts against them. Play on Philadelphia.
