Boston at Oakland

The Boston Red Sox are quickly falling out of playoff contention as they enter this game at 25-27 on the season. The Sox trail 3 teams in the AL East and trail the division-leading Yankees by 12 games. The Boston pitching has been wildly inconsistent and has allowed 10+ runs in 2 games over the last week. Boston is off a 5 game series vs Baltimore at home and they lost 3 and split a 2 game set at home vs Cincinnati. They have struggled to beat poor teams, and despite winning the opener last night in Oakland, in Pivetta's last 2 starts they scored a total of 28 runs, and that won't continue. I like Oakland on the run line.
