Boston will try to gain a split of the four-game series with Oakland after beating the Athletics, 6-3, on Wednesday when Mookie Betts hit a go-ahead two-run double which was followed by am Andrew Benintendi triple, and the Red Sox scored three times in the ninth to win it. Eduardo Rodriguez looks to bounce back from a rough outing at Seattle, and the Red Sox still are 11-2 in his last 13 road starts and 36-17 his last 53 starts overall. Also, Boston has won eight of its last 10 versus left-handed starters going back to last year and the Red Sox hitters are batting a combined .386 in 57 at-bats against Brett Anderson. Boston is 44-19 its last 63 games following a win and 40-18 its last 58 after scoring at least five runs its previous game. Go with the Red Sox.
