The Boston Red Sox opened the 2009 season with eight straight wins over the Yankees, then the payback began. The Yankees closed '09 taking nine of the last 10, and thus far in 2010, they have continued their mastery over the Sox, taking four of the first six - all in Fenway. The big change is pitching. The Sox sit near the bottom of the league, and the Yanks near the top. Phil Hughes has long been touted as a top of the rotation pitcher, and he is delivering on that potential now at 5-0 with a 1.38 ERA and looking very Cy Young viable early. The Sox aren’t getting anything done as a dog at 6-21, so the choice here is the Yankees.
