We were on the right side the last time these two teams hooked up in Boston, and we're taking another side today. Randy Johnson is pitching considerably better this year as compared to last. He has consistently fared well against the Sawx going 5-0 against Boston last year. At home, Johnson pitched extremely well as the Yanks won the ball games 9-2, 6-3 and 1-0. The American League seems to be picking up the tendencies of Beckett as he now owns a 4.86 ERA while giving up a total of 17 earned runs in as many innings pitched over his last 3 games. I expect the Yanks to exact some desired revenge after the series in Boston. The Red Sox are 0-6 as road underdogs, 0-3 in Beckett's last three starts and 0-3 in their last three road games versus a left-handed pitcher. The Yankees on the other hand, with April out of the way, are making their move as they've won their last five straight, are 7-1 when Johnson makes a home start versus a team with a winning record. Bronx Bombers here.
