Boston at Minnesota

The Boston Red Sox and the NY Yankees continue to battle for supremacy in the AL East. They have shown to be the best two teams in MLB in 2018. Boston has Chris Sale on the mound tonight. Sale was brought in to anchor a solid rotation, and he has not disappointed. Sale has been 30-18 with Boston, but the Sox have out-scored their opponents by a margin of 5.08 to 3.48 in his starts, or by 1.6 runs per contest. Jose Berrios is a quality pitcher, but the Twins are not a quality team, and he is just 25-28 in his career. Perhaps more telling is that Berrios is just 9-16 vs. a winning team, with the Twins having been out-scored 3.76 to 4.96. Play on Boston.
