Nothing is coming easy for the Red Sox these days, and that includes Josh Beckett. Beckett is the author of a 1-2 start with a 5.03 ERA, but his problems, like the Red Sox, go back to last year. The Sox are just 12-30 in their last 40 games, and are just 2-5 behind Beckett. The Sox have another problem, and that is getting stymied by right-hand pitching where they are now a woeful 6-22 in their last 28 against them. Minnesota has had a tough schedule, but have played tough, especially at home, and are 5-2 in their last seven when Blackburn starts as a home dog of +110 to +150. Boston is simply over-valued right now based on perception, but their reality paints an entirely different picture. Play on Minnesota.
