Boston at Los Angeles

The Boston Red Sox dealt away most of their starting rotation, and feel that they have some strong young arms in their system and will give them a long look down the stretch. Allen Webster is one of those candidates. After two starts where he simply appeared nervous, and walked 11 total batters, he should calm down in his third start, as he does have big league stuff. Jered Weaver has not had the type of season we have seen in the past, where he dominates most of the time. This year he is still good, but not great with a 3.59 ERA on the season. Boston has never been an easy matchup for him, as he owns a losing record against them in his career, marked by a pedestrian ERA of right around 4. The Angels have been less than stellar in their last seven games to a posted total of 7 to 8.5 where they are 2-5, and Boston does have an exceptional back end of the pen. Take Boston in this one.
