Boston has won four of six after defeating the Royals 7-4 on Friday night when J.D. Martinez and Jarren Duran each hit a two-run double and the Red Sox got back to .500 on the season. Kansas City is trying to stay out of last place in the AL Central after dropping to 23-31 at home. Nathan Eovaldi comes off 6 1/3 strong innings against Houston as he allowed two runs on four hits in a 3-2 Boston victory on Monday. Eovaldi has been a far better pitcher on the road where he has a 2.25 ERA and .216 opponent batting average and Kansas City batters are just 8-for-37 against him with no home runs. Daniel Lynch is 4-7 with a 4.70 ERA and 1.55 WHIP overall and a 5.97 ERA at home. Boston has won five of the past six meetings and the Red Sox are 13-5 their past 18 games versus left-handed starters. The Royals have lost eight of their past 11. Take the Red Sox.
