Boston at Detroit

The Tigers are 12-5 at home, and getting these kinds of odds vs. a Boston team that has been highly inconsistent lends value. Dontrelle Willis was a top pitcher for the Rays, but arm woes have left him buried, only to surface this season as a much better pitcher than what we have seen the past couple years. Willis is 2-0 at home. Jon Lester is in his fifth big league season, and oddly enough has faced the Tigers just one time and was hit hard, but has never toed the rubber in Detroit, and that could be an issue here, especially with the Tigers ripping left-hand pitching to a 23-7 mark in their last 30 at home. Detroit gets the call.
