Boston at Detroit

I'm not sure thtere is a more up and down team in baseball this year than the Boston Red Sox. Play them hot, fade them cold. Boston lost 10 straight games, then followed the big streak by winning seven straight, and have now followed that by losing three straight and counting. Detroit has not been finding the win column themselves as they have now lost five straight games, but got healthy two weeks ago feasting on the slumping Red Sox with a three game sweep at Fenway. The Red Sox have become mentally challenged by losses as they now own a 1-11 mark in their last 12 following a setback, and have dropped seven straight vs. the AL Central, and have had little success here in Detroit where they are 3-8 in their last 11 games.
