Boston pulled out an 8-7 win at Toronto on Thursday when pinch hitter Marco Hernandez hit a tie-breaking homer in the ninth and the Red Sox came back from a 6-1 deficit. The Tigers also actually won a game 11-5 over the White Sox, but Detroit still stands at 28-54, including 12-29 at home. The Tigers have lost 38 of their last 51 overall and they are 19-60 their last 79 games versus teams with winning records. Eduardo Rodriguez gave up two runs in 5 1/3 innings his last outing against the Yankees in London although the bullpen later blew it. Boston has won 11 of Rodriguez's last 12 starts in the first game of a series and the Red Sox are 17-4 his last 21 road starts.
