The Boston Red Sox have probably seen the best of Tim Wakefield. He has struggled with age and all the nagging injuries that come with it. Wakefield has made eight starts and five of them have not been pretty as he gave up five plus runs in those five. The Red Sox are sporting a 2-6 record with him on the mound and an even worse 1-4 on the road. Cleveland is a disgrace on the road, but much more competitive at home. David Huff fits that profile as well as he is 1-6 in seven road starts, but 2-1 at home where his ERA is a respectable 4.05. Wakefield's ERA almost doubles in night games and, going back to last year, the Sox are just 2-9 when he starts. The Indians should hang tough in this one as Boston is without their closer Papelbon tonight. I like the Indians on the runline.
