The Boston offense looks good across the board and has produced early on. Slugger David Ortiz has homered in each of the first two games and first baseman Hanley Ramirez is four-for-eight with a home run and a stolen base. The Red Sox go with hard throwing Joe Kelly (10-6 last season), who was a big surprise. He started poorly, but then worked on taking a little off his fastball and using offspeed pitches more and really clicked down the stretch. He ripped off eight wins in as many starts bridging August and September and solidified his spot with a strong spring. The Red Sox are 14-4 when their opponent allows five runs or more in their previous game. Cleveland's pitching depth is a concern, allowing six runs in each of the first two games. And the Indians are 3-7 after scoring five runs or more in their previous game. Back Boston.
