Boston has a losing road record and the Red Sox play their fifth straight away game of a 10-game trek. Boston starter Rick Porcello (3-6, 4.21 ERA) is coming back to earth after a Cy Young season, allowing 11 hits in each of his last two starts. Porcello is 4-9 with a 4.77 ERA in his career versus the Orioles, including 2-4 with a 4.89 ERA at Camden Yards. The Red Sox are 3-8 on the road against a team with a home winning percentage of greater than .600. Baltimore is 18-8 at home, and on a 21-8 run here. Orioles' righty Alec Asher (3.77 ERA), usually a reliever, gets his second start with good stuff, walking eight in 31 innings with 30 hits allowed and 23 Ks.
