Boston got shut down by the first-place Orioles yesterday, 5-1, part of a 2-6 slide. Cooper Criswell will get the start fresh off the COVID-19 injured list. He has a 4.13 ERA on the road, where the home teams are batting .294 off him. Criswell faced the Orioles once this season and got bombed in an 11-3 loss, allowing seven hits and seven runs in four innings (15.75 ERA). It doesn't help that Boston is ranked last in fielding percentage. Baltimore's offense is third in runs scored, 11th in on-base percentage, and No. 1 in slugging. Batters are hitting just .218 off starter Corbin Burnes, who has a 2.09 ERA at Camden Yards. He's shut down the Red Sox twice this season in 14 innings with a 0.64 ERA in victories of 6-1 and 7-1.
