Baltimore at Washington

The close proximity of these teams makes this series a natural rivalry. The Nationals however are in a steep rebuild and come into the game with a woeful 49-92 mark. The Nats have managed just a single win in their last six games. Baltimore may be the surprise team of 2022. The Orioles lost 109 games a year ago and here they are at 73-67 and fighting for a wildcard slot. The Birds have to see this series against a struggling team as an opportunity to move up in the standings, and the way Washington has been going, they are a certainty for 100+ losses. I like Baltimore in this one.
