Toronto is blowing its chance for a Wild Card spot, losing two of three to the Yankees, and the Blue Jays now have lost five of their last eight games and are one game back of Boston heading into the final series of the year. Baltimore will look to play spoiler again after taking two of three from the Red Sox, including a 6-2 win on Thursday when Ryan Mountcastle hit a three-run homer in the third to help power the Orioles. They will likely miss out on the No. 1 draft pick to Arizona, which currently has two more losses, so Baltimore has some incentive to end its miserable season with some kind of redeemable value in knocking off the Blue Jays.
