The Toronto Blue Jays have been disappointing to open the season, as many had them pegged to win the rugged AL East. All is not lost yet, as the Jays have been playing much more like the team everyone expected. They have now won seven of their last 10, including a 12-6 slugfest here last night against these same Orioles. Sean Nolin will make his first career MLB start, and the numbers he put up at New Hampshire were eye-opening, as he pitched to a 1.17 ERA. The Jays have been productive in the win column of late vs. right-handed pitching at 8-3 in their last 11, and are now 7-1 when playing to a high total of 9 to 10.5. The Birds are faltering against teams with a losing home record at just 1-7 in their last eight. Play on Toronto.
