Baltimore at Toronto

We're taking the Orioles as a dog tonight against the Blue Jays. The Orioles have been playing much better baseball than last year, but more importantly they rely on their offense as they simply expect mediocrity from their pitching more often that not. Despite Lopez's high era, the Orioles are 4-1 in his last 5 starts and 7-3 on the road this year. The Orioles are well aware that they need to score runs when Lopez is on the mound. Miguel Tejada (hitting .556 over nine games) can provide that run support. I look at the Orioles as a live dog tonight and to win in what could be a very high scoring game. Lopez is 15-8 in expected high scoring games (total of 8.5 to 10) over the past two seasons. Good matchup for the O's.
