The Texas Rangers are finding life after making it to the World Series for the first time in franchise history a bit perplexing. The Rangers are now on a freefall that has seen them go close to a month playing .400 baseball at 10-15 over their last 25. The lion's share of the problem starts on the mound where the Rangers’ staff has allowed 6 runs per game over the 25-game stretch, and wins are hard to come by with that kind of mound work. Colby Lewis is part of the mystery, as he served up 21 long balls a year ago in well over 200 innings, and has just about matched that number this season in just 100 innings, serving up 20 already. The Birds like the West where they have won four straight, and certainly aren't intimidated by the Rangers as they have invaded Texas, winning their last four here. Play on Baltimore.
