Tampa Bay has overcome a horrific start to move from the worst to the first in the AL East. The dormant bats have come to life and the pitching which was supposed to control this team's destiny has been even better than expected. Baltimore used the leftover momentum from their late season success last year under Buck Showalter to open the season 7-1, but water seeks its level and the MLB talent often finds itself subject to the same result. The talent here is average at best. Guthrie is another product of those thoughts and the Birds are 14-40 in his last 54 starts vs. the AL East and 3-13 in his last 16 road starts vs. a winning team. Tampa taking care of business vs. losing teams, now at 20-6 in their last 26. I like Tampa Bay here.
